2) from Lithuania, a 3D rock (indie, progressive and alternative) band formed of football childhood friends.
There is no fortuity about the existence of FLAMINGO band. All it’s members played football together since childhood and tried to make music at various local outfits. All the time they were heavily influenced by intense music such as MEW, RADIOHEAD, U2 or PINK FLOYD.

FLAMINGOS é a reencarnação delicada e plural dos escritores de canções João Sarnadas (Coelho Radioactivo) e Luís Gravito (O Cão da Morte). Há muito que a amizade entre os dois se traduz em colaborações nos seus projetos individuais. Nessa cumplicidade que o tempo criou nascem agora os Flamingos, projeto que assume o começo de um longo caminho no sentido da unidade. As canções surgem pela mão de quem dá a primeira deixa e os papéis de guitarra ou voz principal saltitam entre um e outro até ficarem na mão do que se ajeitar melhor com eles.

Blue Flamingo (real name: Ziya Ertekin) is a DJ from Rotterdam, The Netherlands.
Ertekin owns a huge collection of 78 RPM jazz and gospel records. He released two unique compilations of this vintage music: 78 R.P.M. (2008) and Congo Jazz (2010).
The latter album focuses on jazz and gospel releases from Congo and Congolese jazz artists residing in the surroundings of the Mexican Gulf. The music on Congo Jazz was originally released between the 1920s and 1960s of the 20th century. .
