Scott "Spiral Stairs" Kannberg (nascido em 30 de Agosto de 1966) é um músico, mais conhecido por ser um dos membros fundadores da banda Pavement.
Kannberg é amigo de infância de Stephen Malkmus, e ambos cresceram na cidade de Stockton, California. Juntos eles formariam a banda Pavement sob os pseudônimos de "Spiral Stairs" e "SM", respectivamente. Kannberg, após o término do Pavement formou uma nova banda chamada Preston School of Industry pela Matador Records. A banda lançou dois álbums de estúdio e um EP, mas tornou-se inativa em 2004.
Seu primeiro álbum solo, The Real Feel, foi lançado em 2009....
