Close Your Eyes começou quando o vocalista Shane Raymond conheceu o guitarrista Brett Callaway no refeitório da faculdade em que estudavam. Brett estava usando uma camisa do Dillinger Escape Plan e Shane estava vestindo uma do As I Lay Dying, e comentaram sobre as respectivas camisas. Eles começaram a conversar sobre música e perceberam que tínham muitos interesses em comum. Logo depois o guitarrista Andrew Rodriguez, o baterista David Fidler, e o baixista Sonny Vega entraram para o grupo e em 2008 lançaram seu ep de estréia intitulado Close...
Duo technopop formado em Londres, Inglaterra, em 1.981 por Rob Fisher (05/11/59 - 26/08/99 - vocais, teclados, percussao eletronica e sintetizadores) e Pete Byrne (vocais, teclados, sintetizadores, experimentos com Fairlight, etc..).
