In February 2006 the two high school friends Thorben and Sune formed Alcoholic Faith Mission. Walking through Brooklyn they accidentally stumbled upon the Apostolic Faith Mission. Since they at the time were discussing alcoholism they joked about trading Apostolic out for Alcoholic; alcoholics have faith in booze like the devout have in religion. A band with a name was conceived. Six months after the conception of AFM they released their debut Misery Loves Company. Alcohol Funnycar was a rock band from Seattle, Wash. It featured Ben London on guitar/vox, Tommy (Bonehead) Simpson on bass and Joel Trueblood on drums. They released two full-lengths and an EP before disbanding. London is now in the band STAG. .
