Plastic Tree rozpoczęli działalność w grudniu 1993. W początkowy skład weszli Ryutaro (wokal), Tadashi (bass), Akira (gitara) oraz Shin (perkusja), ten ostatni jednak dość szybko odszedł z zespołu, a jego miejsce zajął Takashi.
Po kilku singlach rozdawanych za darmo podczas koncertów, w roku 1995 do sprzedaży trafił ich pierwszy mini-album, '-Strange fruit- kimyou na kajitsu'. Posiadał on dosyć mroczne brzmienie, w którym wyraźnie wyczuć można było wpływ Radiohead oraz The Cure.
W roku 1997 zespół przeszedł na major, wydając z tej okazji swój pierwszy full-album, 'Hide and Seek'. Album ten wraz z wydanym rok później 'Puppet Show' uznawane...

Last Train Home is an American alt-country band led by Eric Brace (guitar, lead vocals), formed originally in 1997 in Washington D.C. and subsequently based in Nashville. In 2009, they released an EP under the name Eric Brace & Last Train Home.
