Equator is an alias of a Dutch DJ and trance producer Cor Sangers. He had over 10 releases using this alias, all between 1996 and 2001. He works under many different aliases. Showcase Showdown was a pogo punk band from Boston in the 1990's. They toured the Northeast extensively and became notorious for their tongue-in-cheek songs, often about obscure cultural icons from political history, television shows and comic books. Showcase Showdown released only two full-length albums, "Permanent Stains" and "Appetite of Kings."
