Ron Grainer (August 11, 1922 - February 21, 1981) was an Australian-born composer who worked for most of his professional career in the United Kingdom. He is mostly remembered for his film and television music, particularly the Doctor Who theme, which was realised by Delia Derbyshire and the BBC Radiophonic Workshop using electronic oscillators and magnetic audio tape editing (including tape loops and reverse tape effects). Pecombo (aka ペコンボ, Japanese), is a world scat chorus group, consisting of three females and two males. They started at 2002. Their music is based on Brazilian, jazz, European movies music, Latin, Caribbean, Afro and Asia. They sing using Japanese and "KATAKANA scat", without musical border, as people living in Tokyo in 21st century. Pecombo's music sounds cheerful, chic and happy. The band got together in 1996 with the objective of playing desperate Ultra Rare Garage Rockabilly. They have retained this distinctive sound ever since. They have recorded four albums - 'Jungle Fever', 'Hot Rod Doll', 'Ready To Go' and 'Rumble In The Jungle' - making a name for themselves in Scandinavia, Germany, Holland and USA.
