Possessed - amerykańska death metalowa grupa powszechnie uznawana również za prekursora gatunku. Powstała w 1983 roku w El Sobrante koło San Francisco (Kalifornia, USA). W 1993 zespół zaprzestał działalności. W 2007 roku grupa reaktywowała się. Razem z zespołami Sadistic Intent, Pentacle, Mortem zagrała wspólną trasę po Europie w ramach The Unholy Trinity Tour 2007.

BSN Posse is a project that saw the light of day in the beginning of 2011, being the result of the musical fusion between two members of the group MMC: Sergio Ruiz (Stay Puft) and Enrique Gervilla (Broken Lip).
Since its formation, the two musicians have continuously edited tracks, coordinating various styles of electronic music in order to create their own sound: Future Garage, Melodías Purple, Dubstep, Glitch, Soul, Dub, Witch House, Uk Funky...
All these styles have had a great influence on the two musicians and given them the freedom to unleash songs in which manually recorded e-guitars combine...
Insane Clown Posse, początkowo Inner City Posse. Grupa reprezentująca nurt Wicked Shit, jeden z elementów szeroko rozumianego Horrorcore'u. ICP powstało w 1989 roku, wydając singiel "Party At The Top Of The Hill" pod pseudonimami Jagged Joe(Joseph Bruce[Violent J]), Kangol Joe(Joseph Utsler[Shaggy 2 Dope] oraz John Utsler jako Master J. Grupa nazywała się JJ Boys.
W tymże toku Joseph Bruce założył gang Inner City Posse, zrzeszający Kangol Joeya, Master J'a oraz kilkunastu innych chłopców z ghett Detroit. Na przełomie 1989/1990 Violent J został skazany na 90 dni więzienia. W tym czasie postanowił porzucić dotychczasowe życie i zająć się Wrestlingiem.
