The Plague Monkeys are a four piece band from Dublin, Ireland. They are Carol Keogh (vocals), Donal O' Mahony (guitars, keyboards and mandolin), Barry Roden (bass) and Thomas Haugh (drums, percussion and keyboard). They formed in December 1995, and released an independent demo EP "People And Machinery" just before the New Year. The musical world inhabited by The Plague Monkeys is the same evocative place that one might find, say a Mazzy Star or Mary Margaret O'Hara. Try to imagine The Velvet Underground jamming with the Cocteau Twins and you begin to get an impression of this group. .

In 2014, the band signed on with the legendary punk label Epitaph, where they released their concise debut, Free to Eat, in the spring of that year. Recorded over...
In 2002, Empyrean Plague began to take form in the vast forests of the Canadian North. Influenced by the harsh northern winters, founding members and guitarists Turmoil and Pawn, began crafting their ruthless, yet melodious sound. Soon after, they sought out others of like mind, enlisting drummer Treachery and recruiting bassist Dertah (Vanquished) to begin work on their first demo. Upon completion, Dertah returned to Vanquished as E.P. began the quest for a permanent bassist. After some time they came upon their missing link, a lost spirit by the name of Unborn. Empyrean Plague was now complete. In late 2003...
