Swans – amerykański zespół muzyczny, istniejący od 1982 roku, wywodzący się z nowojorskiego ruchu no wave. Założycielem i liderem grupy był wokalista i gitarzysta Michael Gira. Drugim filarem grupy była wokalistka Jarboe, życiowa partnerka Giry. W 1997 roku, po rozpadzie ich związku, zespół został rozwiązany. W 2010 roku nastąpiła reaktywacja Swans w nowym składzie, czego wynikiem był album studyjny, My Father Will Guide Me Up a Rope to the Sky. 28 sierpnia 2012 roku zespół wydał kolejny album, The Seer. Kolejny album grupy, To Be Kind miał swoją premierę 12 maja 2014 roku.
