Morbid Angel - amerykański zespół grający death metal. Powstał na Florydzie w 1983 roku, lecz ogromną popularność zdobył sobie na przełomie lat osiemdziesiątych i dziewięćdziesiątych, nagrywając płyty Altars of Madness oraz Blessed Are The Sick, uważane dziś za prekursorskie dzieła, które wpłynęły na rozwój death metalu. Zespół tworzyli nastoletni muzycy: Sterling von Scarborough (śpiew, gitara basowa), Trey Azagthoth (gitara), Richard David Brunelle (gitara) oraz Pedro „Pete” Sandoval (perkusja). Morbid Wizard is a sludge/doom band from Cleveland, Ohio. In 2011 they have self-released a debut CD album Lord of the Rats that comes in DVD case with large artwork by Scott Stearns. Lord of the Rats title track can be listened on Land of Smiles soundcloud. Band members are not new to the scene, they are known from other acts such as Fistula, Accept Death, Sollubi and numerous others.
