Cocteau Twins - szkocka grupa dream popowa.
Zespół działał w latach 1981 - 1998. Powstał w Grangemouth, w Szkocji.
Nazwa zespołu pochodzi od tytułu utworu wykonywanego przez grupę Simple Minds. W początkowym składzie znajdowali się tylko Robin Guthrie (gitara) i Will Heggie (gitara basowa), później do zespołu dołączyła Elizabeth Fraser (wokal). Ostateczny skład zespołu ustalił się w 1983 roku - z zespółu odszedł Heggie, a na jego miejsce przyszedł Simon Raymonde (gitara basowa).

The Kalin Twins (born 16 February 1934, Port Jervis, New York, USA) were a pop music recording duo, comprising twin brothers Hal and Herbie Kalin (d. 24 August 2005 and 21 July 2006, respectively).
A classic example of one-hit-wonder syndrome, the Kalin Twins have a more interesting history than many who fall into this age group. Twinset (formerly known as The Spider Men) hooked up at the start of their second year at the then Wellington Polytechnic Conservatorium of Music in 1996. Their first gig was at a warehouse party along with various Goth bands who splattered themselves in blood – needless to say, they were in suits & ties.
Since then this fine trio have been a regular live feature in Wellington, going under a variety of names (Los Tigres Del Norte, Moose Head etc) until Leon Matterhorn had the honour of eventually naming them Twinset.
