Burning Airlines was a U.S. music band, founded in 1997 that disbanded in 2002. It was started by former Jawbox members J. Robbins and Bill Barbot. Before Jawbox split in 1997, Robbins and Barbot had begun jamming with Robbins' former Government Issue bandmate and drummer, Peter Moffet. When Zach Barocas left Jawbox for New York, Moffet was briefly asked to fill in for Barocas. However, this Jawbox lineup was not to be, and Jawbox called it quits shortly afterwards. Meteora jest polskim zespołem post-hardcore'owym z Wrocławia. Ich twórczość inspirowana jest przez przez ostatnią jak do tej pory wielką falę zespołów jak: Blessthefall, Emarosa, Before Their Eyes, Oceana. 11. lipca 2009 wydali pierwsze demo zatutyłowane "The Past Should Stay Dead". Nazwa pochodzi od piosenki zespołu Emarosa z albumu Relativity. Zaraz po nagraniu dema, z zespołu odeszło dwóch gitarzystów z powodu niezgodności, co do wizji tworzonej muzyki. Aktualnie poszukują gitarzysty. Jeszcze na wrzesień / październik tego roku planują kolejne nagrania, które nie zostały zamieszczone na poprzednim demie.
