A Perfect Circle - amerykańska grupa muzyczna grająca alternative rock, utworzona w 1999 (California, US) przez gitarzystę Billy'ego Howerdela (choć plany tego projektu muzycznego powstały już w 1996), pracującego wcześniej jako technik przy trasach koncertowych takich grup jak m.in. Nine Inch Nails, Tool, The Smashing Pumpkins, Guns N' Roses.
W pierwszym składzie znaleźli się: Maynard James Keenan (wokal, Tool), Billy Howerdel, (gitara), Troy van Leeuwen (gitara, ex-Failure, obecnie Queens of the Stone Age), Paz Lenchantin (gitara basowa, Zwan), Josh Freese (perkusja, The Vandals, obecnie Nine Inch Nails). W tym składzie grupa nagrała pierwszy album Mer de Noms (2000).
