Joana Amendoeira is a “New Generation” fado singer. Through her voice, fado reaches unique, sublime moments, powered by her sensuous and moving harmonies. Amendoeira was born in Santarém, Portugal in 1982, making her the youngest singer from Portugal performing fado around the world today. Her singing style is classic and traditional, yet her unique vocals bring a bright, new glow to fado. Joana Zimmer (ur. 27 października 1979 we Fryburgu) – niemiecka piosenkarka i modelka. Jako dziecko śpiewała w berlińskim chórze. Od piętnastego roku życia, występując w klubach jazzowych, zbierała pieniądze na wydanie płyty demo. Podpisała kontrakt z wytwórnią Universal Music, co dało jej możliwość pracy m.in. z Garym Barlowem, Nikiem Kershawem czy Burtem Bacharachem. Szerzej znana stała się po wydaniu w 2005 r. singla I Believe (Give A Little Bit), promującego jej płytę My Innermost. Od urodzenia jest niewidoma. .
