Charlie McAlister (Charles Monroe McAlister, Columbia, South Carolina, March 4, 1969 - February 26, 2018) was an American folk singer, songwriter, musician and artist. Charlie was born in Columbia, SC, and moved with his family to Georgetown, SC, overseas to Athens, Greece, and eventually to Mount Pleasant, SC in 1979.
