Luminary było vocal- transowym duetem, składającym się z brytyjskiego producenta Laurence Rapaccioli (znanego także pod pseudonimem Arksun) oraz amerykańskiej wokalistki Ashley Tomberlin. Ich współpraca zaczęła się w 2002, rok później zaczęli tworzyć pod nazwą Luminary.
Ich pierwszy singiel "My World" (2005) przyniósł duży sukces, a sam utwór został zamieszczony przez Dj Tiesto na jego składance "In search of sunrise 4". Kolejne trzy produkcje: "Wasting" (2005), "Amsterdam" (2006, wydany przez londyński label Anjunabeats) oraz "Dark Eyes" (2006) również zdobyły rozgłos i były grane przez takie sławy jak Armin van Buuren czy Above & Beyond.
