The Casualties are an American street punk band which was formed in New York City in 1990. It was formed by vocalist Jorge Herrera, Hank (guitar), Colin Wolf (vocals), Mark Yoshitomi (bass) and Yureesh Hooker (drums). Hank's last name of several is unknown. Jorge Herrera is the only remaining member of the originals. During the early years of the band, the members were very fluid.

Ultraviolence is a British gabber act headed by Johnny Violent (born Jonathan Casey, 1970). The Ultraviolence sound incorporates elements from various styles including hardcore techno/gabber, breakbeat hardcore, industrial techno, power noise, metal and rap, with lyrics often telling a story in a concept album format. Johnny Violent has worked with several female vocal artists on different releases, but as of 2005, singer and angle grinding stage performer Allezbleu has become a permanent member of the band.

Taxi Violence was born in Cape Town in the spring of 2004 when best friends Rian Zietsman, Loedi van Renen and Louis Nel approached George van der Spuy with an invitation to a jam session. Rian, Loedi and Louis had played in a band called 508 in high school, while George was the drummer for their rival band, Drain (there was a famous spitting incident to which both parties claim innocence).
