Haruki Yamada (山田玄紀, Yamada Haruki) is a Japanese music composer and arranger. After graduating from Shobi University, he joined Koei's BGM division and worked on many of their titles before leaving at some point. Yamada learned to play the guitar at the age of 11 before writing his own compositions upon turning 15. .
Haruki Murakami (村上春樹 Murakami Haruki) is a Japanese novelist born in 1949 in Kyoto, Japan. He grew up in Kobe, Japan and now lives in the USA.
He writes fantastical novels and short stories, mostly based in Japan, with a strong interest in music and people. His most famous book, Norwegian Wood is well known in both the West and his home country. .
Haruki Mino (美野春樹) is a Japanese pianist and composer.
He is a talented pianist who was educated at the Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music. Since graduating, he has been actively composing and arranging, as well as creating the jazz trio "MINO HARUKI TORIO." Currently, he is producing original pieces using Japanese military songs as a motif. .

Kuruki was almost a solo project, by Ghent-based musician Gerry D'Haeyer.
In fact, Kuruki is mainly a one hit wonder. The single "Crocodile tears" did well, successors (like the single "Just a cat" of 1983, which was recorded with Alan Gevaert & Chris Whitley of Noh Rodeo) could never repeat this success.
Gerry D'Haeyer later went on to play drums with bluesmusician Roland Van Campenhout.
