Maurizio Piazza is an italian composer, arranger and remixer, from ’70s to present, passing through electronic, ambient, classical & world music, using digital and natural sounds. In the last years is working on two different lines. Voxstone a communicative musical project using electronic and digital energies, with the italian DJ Brahms and others friends (Vincenzo Zitello, Antonio Testa), and ReARZ (Electro-Acoustic International Project from Arz Nevez) a world music production with Yves Ribis, a french musician from Brittany. .
ROD PIAZZA (1947.11.18/Riverside, CA - ) is a blues harmonica player and singer. In a 2006 interview, Piazza cited Little Walter as a major influence, as well as early exposure to Jimmy Reed, Earl Bostic, Big Joe Turner. In 1965, at the age of 18, he formed the Dirty Blues Band in Los Angeles. Soon after, in 1967, they released their first self-titled album on ABC/Bluesway Records. This was followed by "Stone Dirty" in 1968. After it's release Rod left to team up with his idol George "Harmonica" Smith who once held the prestigious harpman's seat in the Muddy Waters...
La Piazza is an Italian folk music group that records and performs arrangements considered to be of traditional Latium inspiration. They have released two albums on the Waterfront Records label. They originally started as a quartet, but added three new musicians for their second album.
