There seem to be four artists with this name: 1. Rhino is a Spanish sludge doom band formed in Bilbao, 2004. Now called Horn Of The Rhino. With big experience on their backs and with influences of the most bestial rock, the sickest doom and the heaviest metal, born in Bilbao, Rhino, a band that delivers brutal and monolithic songs with blasting guitars, thundering apocalyptic drums and aggressive vocals. 1) Indie pop group heavily influenced by The Byrds and The Hollies based in Sweden. Swedish natives Pontus Berggrensson (drums), Lasse Hindberg (guitar/vocals), and Göran Frennesson (bass) formed the Rhinos in spring of 2000. A couple of months later, the band added Björn Persson on second guitar and vocals. The band recorded after some gigs, resulting in the ten-song, promo-only Thirst. Longtime live backing vocalist, Leif Svensson, was asked to join the Rhinos as a full-time member, providing vocals and harmonica. The year is 1999 and while the world is obsessing about the upcoming new millenium, three boys decide to give a big middle finger to all the confusion. They unite their unique individual lack of musical abilities and start cranking out the most primal of tunes.
