Acid Black Cherry is the solo project of YASU (born January 27, 1975), the vocalist of the j-rock band Janne Da Arc. Their first single, "SPELL MAGIC," released July 18, 2007, contained two tracks. For this project, YASU has teamed up with SHUSE (ex-La'cryma Christi) on bass, guitarists YUKI (ex-/\ucifer), Akihide (BREAKERZ) and Chisato (PENICILLIN) and Jun-ji (ex-Siam Shade) on drums. SUGIZO (ex-LUNA SEA) and DAITA (ex-Siam Shade) have also participated in recording a few tracks for the project. JUDY AND MARY were a Japanese multi-genre band known for their innovative punk, rock, and pop meldings of noisy but melodic music in the 1990's. They formed in 1992 when bassist Yoshihito Onda (jp: 恩田快人) met vocalist Yuki Isoya (磯谷有希) in Hakodate, Hokkaido. The roots of Lamb of God were planted in the year 1990, when Mark Morton, Chris Adler and John Campbell were friends at Virginia Commonwealth University. A few of their members have appeared elsewhere, but for the most part their public appearances (and subsequent popularity) have been limited.
