Sadao Watanabe (渡辺貞夫) is Japan's most famous saxophone player. Born February 1st, 1933, in Utsunomiya in the Tochigi prefecture of Japan, Watanabe began playing the alto sax after moving to Tokyo at the age of 18. He went on to study at the Berklee College of Music in Boston from 1962 to 1965. He plays both alto and soprano saxophone, and has collaborated with internationally renowned artists such as Chico Hamilton, Gary Peacock, Chic Corea and Kikuchi Masabumi. Machinae Supremacy is a metal band from Luleå, Sweden. Their musical style is based on the use of the Sidstation synthesizer, which incorporates the SID (Sound Interface Device) of the Commodore 64 home computer. Imperial China is an experimental punk rock trio from Washington, DC, featuring Matt Johnson, Brian Porter, and Patrick Gough. Gough was in the 1990s band Pitchblende, which recorded for Cargo, Matador, Jade Tree, and Simple Machines. Imperial China began in January 2007 and self-released their debut four-song EP, "Methods:" in April 2008.
