Guano Padano’s music is a kind of road movie, unfolding between the scorching asphalt of Highway number 4 and the juicy smells of the peasant festivals so common in the Pianura Padana. Guano is a punk rock band that has a comparable sound to Schlong. They have released two albums, the self-titled "Guano", "Eye of the Donkey", and the mock rock opera "Starfighter", the latter two on the Bun Length, Etc. label. Guan Pinghu (Chinese: 管平湖;1897-1967), was a Chinese player of the guqin, a Chinese 7-string bridgeless zither. Born in Suzhou, Jiangsu Province, Guan came from an artistic family, and started to learn the guqin from his father, Guan Nianci. After the death of his father when he was thirteen, Guan continued with his father’s friend Ye Shimeng and Zhang Xiangtao.
