Cynthia Layne is a contemporary vocalist who describes her music as "soothing to the soul...a mix of groove based R&B with strong jazz undertones." Another Electronic Musicianは、Jase Rexによるソロユニット。略称AEM。 カリフォルニア大学サンタバーバラ校で物理学を学ぶ中で作曲活動を始める。初めはTEFOSAV recordsなどレーベルのコンピレーションアルバムに参加していた。 2001年に"Untitled CDR Version 1"をセルフリリース。少し間が空き（2002年にコンピレーションにアルバムには参加したが）、2004年にn5mdから派生したen:peg digitalから"Decompose "をリリース。同年にはオンラインレーベル"Hippo Camp"からも約24分に及ぶ曲をmp3配信した。 翌2005年にはついにレーベルからCD媒体を放つことになる。アルバム"Use"は上記のen:peg digitalの親元にあたるn5mdからのリリースだった。 2006年には"Use"で培った技術や感性を基盤に据え、同n5mdより"Patience(AA)"をリリースし、好評を得る。 2008年11月には"Five(AA)"を、2010年2月にはstates of space(AA)をリリースした。 .
