シュガー・ベイブ（SUGAR BABE）は、1973年から1976年まで活動した日本のバンド。
1973年、山下達郎を中心に結成された。当時はまだ珍しかった、メジャー7thや分数コードなどのコード・プログレッションを多用するほか、コーラス・ワークに重点を置いた音作りで際立った存在として一部の音楽ファンから支持を得たものの、1970年代初頭のサブカルチャーのロック・シーンで同じようなスタイルのグループが他にいなかったため、的外れな評論やいわれなき中傷も数多く受けた。バンドの構造的宿命もあって1976年に解散したが、中心メンバーの山下や大貫妙子らのその後の活動によって、その名はさらに存在感を増している。

MCs Babe-Face Kaos, Y-Tee, and Mister Man grew up in the West Indies (Y-Tee in Jamaica, Mister Man and Kaos in Trinidad), so reggae was a strong inspiration to their early years; hip-hop also figures in, however. All transplanted New Yorkers, they formed in 1992 when Mister Man saw Kaos perform. The two began collaborating, and after Mister Man suggested adding a reggae toaster, Y-Tee joined da Bush Babees. At the start of 2016 quietly released an ambient EP pleasing a surprising amount of people. Recorded a brand new one under "Smoky" alias entitled: Night Music / Ambient Haze 2.
All of the music on the EPs was recorded at night with an Epiphone Les Paul Custom Pro, going through a Strymon Timeline and a Strymon Big Sky. A little extra processing in logic. .
Babe Ruth is a rock music group, primarily active through the 1970s, from Hatfield, Hertfordshire, England.
