レベッカ・ブラック(Rebecca Black 1997年6月21日生)はアメリカ合衆国カリフォルニア州アナハイム(Anaheim, California, United States)出身のポップ歌手。２１世紀の「ポップ界の女王(queen of pop) 」または「伝説(Legend)」と称される。2011年にリリースされたシングル’’Friday’’によってその人気は世界中に拡大した。
彼女のデビューのきっかけはLAのteen popのインディレコードレーベルARK Music Factoryの新人発掘オーディションであった。そのオーディションに13歳で挑戦して見事に合格。レベッカの母はレコーディングのために$4000を用意しレコーディングをはじめた。彼女がデビュー曲に''Friday''を選んだ理由は「友達と楽しく遊んでいる曲だから」。作詞作曲は彼女がおこなったわけではないがこの''Friday''がリリースされ動画サイトに載せられると彼女のオートチューニングのかかった歌声と楽曲レベルに話題が沸騰。一躍彼女はネット上で人気歌手となった。''Friday''は無名の新人歌手の曲でありながらBillboad Hot100入りし、彼女は2011年のもっとも有名な新人歌手となった。’’Friday’’のミュージックビデオはYoutubeでは1億6000万VIEWを達成した。そして2nd''My Moment''もリリースしスマッシュヒットした。2011年にGoogleにおいて世界でもっとも検索された個人として堂々の1位となるなど彼女の勢いは止まらない。
そして人気歌手となった彼女はKaty Perryの''Last Friday Night (T.G.I.F.)''のミュージックビデオに特別出演するなど、全米では『パーティ』と『金曜日』と言えばレベッカ・ブラックと言われるようになった。その後、そのKaty Perry のライブで共演した。そしてKatyだけではなくLady GagaもTVインタビューでレベッカを賞賛し「彼女は天才よ」と発言しファンを公言した。
現在はデビューアルバムに向けて準備中である。
その先行として3rdシングル’’Person Of Interest’’がリリースされた。

Rebecca Saunders (born 19 December 1967, London) is an English composer.
From 1991 to 1994 Saunders studied composition with Wolfgang Rihm at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, and in 1997 she completed a doctorate in composition with Nigel Osborne. Saunders has received the Busoni Prize of the Berlin Academy of the Arts, the Ernst von Siemens Music Prize for composition, the composition prize from the ARD and the Paul Hindemith Prize as part of the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival (2003).
