The Syndicats were Steve Howe's first band. Their three singles on Columbia (EMI) were produced by Joe Meek. When lead guitarist Howe left for Tomorrow in 1965, he was replaced by Ray Fenwick. Fenwick plays lead-guitar on "Crawdaddy Simone". He co-wrote it with Jeff Williams, the bands' keyboardist. That song has recently been covered by The Horrors. Alien Crime Syndicate (1997–2005) were an American alternative rock group formed by Joe Reineke in San Francisco, California before relocating to Seattle, Washington after the collapse of his previous band The Meices. The group's main lineup consisted of Reineke, bassist Jeff Rouse (Rhino Humpers) and Nabil Ayers with a number of guitarists, Jason Krevey, Mike Squires and Mike Davis, contributing and performing with the band over the years. Shibuya Syndicate was officially born in 2006. The band sound included many Electro-House-Acid-Breakbeat influences. After a "testing" period, currently almost finished, the band has decided to grow towards different styles and sounds, in order to learn the "language" and the power of Electro Music.
