The MelTones are a surf rock instrumental band, originally formed in Montreal, Canada. The MelTones have recorded three albums and one compilation CD. Their songs can be heard in the animated TV series Spongebob Squarepants. They originally recorded as "Los Mel-Tones" and later changed the name to The MelTones.
