CAT got your ear?.. Based in Brighton, Amongst the Pigeons is a place inhabited by soaring loops and the beating of electronic wings. Discovered in early 2005 via the talk-speak places internet people huddle, ATP grew forth. Radio One’s Rob Da Bank was quick to champion tracks (Firefly and the classic la la la la la laa song) from seminal EP release, ‘wings wings: beat’, which also slunk their way onto XFM, Juice, WCRfm, and Radio Reverb. Contrary to the posters that have appeared on Brighton streets, CAT was not lost - just hiding, honing, purrfecting… DJ slots and remixes...

The Austrian Death Metal Entity AMONGST THE DECEIT was formed in Salzburg/Austria in 2008. The two founding members and guitarists Steve and Johan originated from bands with quite different styles. Shortly after writing some material, Martyn (Bass) and Thorn (Vocals) joined the band. Soon it was clear that the music had to be a mixture of all kinds of extreme metal played with the utmost care and passion, a combination of sick blast beats and double bass madness, devastating death/THRASH/black riffs, technical abilty and melodic solos. Things seemed to go well except the not yet occupied position behind the drum...

There are two artists who use the name The Insects: 1) Tim Norfolk and Bob Locke became known as The Insects in 1996 and started co-writing for Bristol bands such as Massive Attack ('Karma Coma' and 'Euro Child'), and they wrote the track 'Human' from Goldfrapp's best-selling 'Felt Mountain' album. The Insects had written music for several documentaries, an animated feature film 'Secret Adventures of Tom Thumb', feature film 'Love and Death on Long Island' starring John Hurt and Jason Priestly, TV commercials and CD-Roms. Recently they have written the score for the horror film 'Creep', 'XX/XY', and 'Owning Mahony'...
