Strictly a producer at age 14, Bellion became increasingly fed up with being asked for generic records. After literally giving singing and rapping "a shot" out of frustration, the now 25 year old Bellion has developed an incredibly unique lane untouched by anyone. 2003年9月横浜にて、同じ大学のサークルの先輩・後輩であった菅原、滝、かみじょうの三人でバンドの原型を結成。翌年3月に中村が加入し、現在のメンバー編成となった後、横浜や都内で精力的にライブ活動を行い、その頭角を現すようになる。 　2005年12月に残響レコードより1stミニアルバム「Gjallarhorn」、2006年9月に2nd CD「Phantomime」をリリース。その爆発的なライブパフォーマンスや叙情的な歌詞、凝り固まったジャンルに囚われない独特の音楽性が話題を呼び、様々なバンド、アーティストとの共演を経て、2007年には「Countdown Japan」や「Punkspring」といった大型イベントに初出演を果たす。 　2007年10月にリリースされたメジャーデビューシングル「Discommunication」はオリコン初登場9位を記録。続いてリリースされた1stフルアルバム「Termination」も、オリコン初登場10位をマークするなど、名実ともに2007年最もブレイクした新人アーティストとなる。 　2008年夏には各地のフェスに9本出演、夏フェス最多出演アーティストとなる。10月15日にリリースされた2ndアルバム「VAMPIRE」は発売日にオリコンデイリーチャート1位を記録。数字や記録に驕ることなく、10月18日には初の日比谷野外音楽堂でのワンマンライブ「暁の野音」を大成功に収める。 　2009年4月1日には初の映像作品としてDVD「ACT 1」をリリース。伴って同日、代々木公演野外ステージにてフリーライブを行い、集まった10000人の観衆を熱狂させた。また、2009年9月9日という9並びの記念すべき日には初の武道館公演「999（アット・ブドウカン）」を敢行。15000人の観客と共に興奮の坩堝と化しさる武道館公演の音源を57分収録した、型破りの3rd e.p.「Cold Edge e.p.」をリリース。年末にはCountdown Japan FesにおいてEARTHステージのトップバッターを務め、年末まで熱く「9mmの年」を盛り上げた。 　2010年1月6日には2nd Single「命ノゼンマイ」をリリース（映画「彼岸島」の主題歌）、全国ツアーを決行。完全セルフプロデュースと銘打って4月21日にリリースされた3rdアルバム「Revolutionary」は、オリコンウィークリーチャート4位を記録。 　2011年初頭にかけての制作期間を経て、5月18日に3rd Single「新しい光」、6月15日に4th Album「Movement」をリリース。6月26日にはバンド誕生の地である横浜アリーナにてワンマンライブ「Movement Yokohama」を行う。同年7月からは全国ツアー「Movement Moment Tour 2011」を敢行。2011年の「9mmの日」には"9"つながりの九州・Zepp福岡にてスペシャルライブを行い、11月には自身のOpening SEとして愛聴されるATARI TEENAGE RIOTのJAPAN TOURのゲストアクトも務めた。 　2012年には「MTV Unplugged」にて全編アコースティックライブを行い、バンドとしての可能性を大きく広げる。10月24日には4thシングル「ハートに火をつけて」をリリース。THE BAWDIESとの学園祭ライブツアー、11月の「EAST COAST TOUR」では、東北沿岸都市4か所を熱烈に盛りたてた。 　2013年はバンド名に縁ある9周年YEAR。新宿風林会館というレトロな空気漂うキャバレーにて3月9日、「サンキュー・ライブ」を大成功に納めたのち、3/19からは新潟LOTSを皮切りに「桜前線ブッタ斬リ」ツアーが企画された。本年の毎月9日には今年の動向を示唆する発表の数々が控えており、5/29には5th Single「Answer and Answer」を発売、6/26には5th Album「Dawning」をドロップ。自身が傑作と銘打った本作を引っ提げ、7月9日からは「Breaking the Dawn Tour 2013」がスタート。11/9の台北公演まで、横浜Club Lizardでの2days公演を皮切りに、全国を31公演駆け抜ける。9が並ぶ日、9/9にはバンド結成の地である横浜のBLITZにて自主企画「カオスの百年 Vol.9」を満了のもと終幕。 　同日2014年、バンド結成10年目となる節目の年、2月7日・8日に武道館2daysという破格の公演と、両日ともに未公開の新曲を公開することが発表された。 2016年11月、滝は持病のジストニアのためにライブ活動を無期限休止することを発表。アルバム製作等は続行するとのこと。 　なお、バンド名はかみじょう（Dr）による命名であるが、その由来は諸説あり（ex.かみじょうの祖父が戦時中に負傷させられた弾丸だった、メンバー全員の身長が○○○.9センチだった、キューリに語呂が似ている…etc）、真意は未だに明確にされていない。今のところはかみじょうが重火器や武器が好きであるという点から、世界で最も用いられている弾丸の名前である「9mmパラベラム弾」より名付けられた、という説が有力とされている―――らしい。 Band members(リーダーはかみじょうちひろ) 菅原卓郎 – vocals, rhythm guitar 滝善充 – lead guitar, piano, backing vocals 中村和彦 – bass, screams かみじょうちひろ(上條智拓) – drums .

Lady Antebellum is a country group formed in Nashville, Tennessee in 2006. The trio is composed of Charles Kelley (lead and background vocals), Dave Haywood (background vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin) and Hillary Scott (lead and background vocals).
