3rdアルバム「Hidden Hands of a Sadist Nation」時点ではAt the Gates直系のメロディックなデスラッシュを展開していたが、4thアルバム「Undoing Ruin」ではメタルコアにシフトした楽曲が中心となり、ハードコアリスナーからも注目を集める。
5thアルバム「Deliver Us」では前作の流れを踏襲しつつも、叙情的なメロディを豊富に活用した作曲センスで現在のスタイルを確立し、今なおこのアルバムを最高傑作と評価するリスナーも多い。6thアルバム「The Eternal Return」はビルボード104位にチャートインした。
ヒートシーカーでは3枚連続でトップと、コアなファンから絶大な支持を集めている。

The Last Hour is the solo project of Roberto Del Vecchio (ex Gothica / Les Jumeaux Discordants). His past is bound up with the name of Gothica, having released two CDs "Night Thoughts" (2000) and "The Cliff of Suicide" (2003) through Swedish Cold Meat Industry label. The Last Hour project was born in 2004 after the Gothica split. The first song composed was "Into Empty Depth" and it appeared on the compilation "Flowers Made of Snow", a Cold Meat Industry sampler (2004). In December 2008, debut CD came out on the Russian Intuition Records. .
