大阪を中心に活動中の越智健太（Gt.Vo）、池田大介（Ba.Cho）、桑原智（Dr.Vo）の3ピースメロディック・パンクバンド。
精力的なライブ活動を続け、2009年に「湘南音祭vol.3」、「OGA ROCK FES.」、2010年に「MIYAKO ISLAND ROCK Fes.」に出演。2011年「京都大作戦 2011」出演以降は、より一層そのパフォーマンスが各地で話題を呼び、また自らの精力的な全国ツアーによって動員が加速的に増加。
2012年以降も10-FEET、locofrankのツアーに参加する等、現在のメロディック・パンクシーンの中核に進出。

The Hundred Acre Woods, a folk/punk band based in Philadelphia, formed in the latter half of 2009, aims to convey a message that is both young and old. Force of Nature 3rd album「III」から4年。Force of Natureとして、またソロDJ活動も活発なDJ KENTがソロ・ユニットTHE BACKWOODSとして1st アルバム『The Backwoods』を7月7日発売！。THE BACKWOODSとは未開発の森や辺境、都会から離れた場所という意味があるが、実際に奥深い森や山、海等の野外シーン向けの曲も多く、文字通りの作品になりつつある。また、今までのサンプリング主体の制作方法から抜け出し、サンプリングはほぼ使わずにゼロから組み立て、ピュアなオリジナル作品の制作にこだわっている点にも注目!!
