Countdown is a progressive metal band from Nancy (France), born in 1996. The band consists of Pierre Heillich (drums), Christophe Hubertus (guitar), Betrand Pirard (bass) and Dave Hubertus (vocals, guitar). Even though Countdown's earlier works were closer to bands like Megadeth or Metallica, since the album "Chains of a Martyr" they turned into a more progressive approach to the riffing and to the structures of their songs, closer to bands like Dream Theater or Symphony X and nowadays mostly instrumental. .
