I GUNIW TOOLS sono un gruppo musicale giapponese, nato come estensione musicale del laboratorio artistico GUNIW ed attualmente in pausa a tempo indeterminato dal 2000.
Sono considerati fra le figure più cult del panorama underground giapponese, ed il loro leader FULL è tuttora uno dei musicisti d'avanguardia più influenti in patria.
La band è ascrivibile nel visual kei dato il ruolo di primo piano riservato alla parte visiva del progetto (paritaria rispetto alla parte musicale), pur non eseguendo un genere affine al glam od al metal.
Il nome della band proviene da GUNIW, il nome dell'atelier di FULL, che...

Stagnant Pools is a two-piece shoegaze/post-punk band from Bloomington, Indiana. The duo consists of brothers Douglass and Bryan Enas. Bryan and Douglass create a wall of sound that is both grooving and aethereal. Brian's reserved vocals emanate just below the level of noise that is created by the combination of fuzzed-out guitar and on-point drum beats in such a way that they sometime register as a very in-place hum that adds to the overall sound. .
