Manticore was formed in 2000 by members Ixitichitl, The Maggot Wrangler and Satanael, to express their ideology and play the kind of music they wanted to hear: unholy black death metal done without compromise. In January of 2001, the band recorded the Ritual Cleansing of the Whore demo, which was later re-released on CD and vinyl by Breath of Night/Merciless Records. In January of 2002, Manticore returned to the studio to record its first album, entitled Bowels of the Holy Anoint Us in Evil, to be released later through Warhammer Records. Patetico is a Slovenian cabaret band, which consists of Rok Vilčnik (the idea and lyrics), Nika Perunović (vocals), Dejan Berden (piano), Ciril Sem (drums) and Matjaž Krivec (bass). The Portico Quartet is a British jazz band, formed in 2005. In 2014, they changed names to Portico. Formed from two sets of schoolfriends, they share a house in East London, make recordings, and play festivals and clubs. They are primarily acoustic: percussion, bass, and wind instruments, together with the hang, a tuned percussion instrument bought on impulse at a music festival.
