Tömmermenn is among the heaviest, grooviest and tightest bands in Norway. They have been mixing their own kind of power, energy and melodic sense since 1995 and are well known for their powerful live expression. They don't like to call their music "metal", but prefers to be called "The heaviest rock band in Norway". All their lyrics are in Norwegian. The band emerged as a natural progression from the musical tastes and explorations the current band-members shared in their younger years and the result should speak for itself. The Mermen are an influential psychedelic surf band from San Francisco, California. One of the odder and more wonderful bands to emerge from the surf music revival, the Mermen race between high-octane surf anthems and spaced-out blasts of psychedelia.
