Three bands exist(ed) under this name: -- Amphibian was a heavy metal act from Osaka, Japan, formed in '92. They released three demo's that year. Their first full-length studio album, named "Doppelgänger", followed a year later on Free-Will records. Vocalist Shella and guitarist Kazuki played in several other bands as well. Amphibian is currently disbanded. -- Amphibian are Barry Hill, Rob Walsh and Matt Hill a jazz trio of double bass, drums and piano. Solea Amphibia is Lars-Marcus Jungnell from Sweden. His two albums "Stratosphear" (1999) and "Say Infected" (2001) are both melodic ambient-dub-ish efforts with a highly polished production. .
Solead are Charles and Vincent from France. Before producing electronic music they started to play guitar and keyboards in a rock band after 10 years of studying musical theory. They then decided to produce electronic music in the year 2000. Between them they released, as separate projects, 4 albums and more than 70 tracks.
