Flamingo è un trio che vive nel Mugello in provincia di Firenze, formato da Claudio Corona (voce solista e chitarra e computer) e Salvatore Parrotta (cori, chitarra e computer) e Lorenzo Consigli ( Basso ) .Suonano insieme dal 2000 e dal 2001 sono seguiti dal Produttore Pietro ( PIO ) Stefanini ,autore e produttore già per Irene Grandi, Leyani, Sergio Sgrilli, Yu Yu ,Dolce Nera, ecc. Hanno inciso il loro primo cd singolo nell’estate 2003 per la casa discografica Carosello Records e conteneva una cover rivisitata di Alberto Camerini (Tanz Bambolina ) e un loro brano dal titolo Verde Pisello...
Flamingos were a doo wop group from the United States, most popular in the mid to late 1950s. They were best known for their song "I Only Have Eyes For You". In 2003, "I Only Have Eyes For You" was inducted into the Grammy Award Hall of Fame. The song inspired an episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer. It was also used in a Pepsi add in 1998 - without permission, however. The group was awarded $250,000 after a successful lawsuit against the PepsiCo corporation. .

Blue Flamingo (real name: Ziya Ertekin) is a DJ from Rotterdam, The Netherlands. Ertekin owns a huge collection of 78 RPM jazz and gospel records. He released two unique compilations of this vintage music: 78 R.P.M. (2008) and Congo Jazz (2010). The latter album focuses on jazz and gospel releases from Congo and Congolese jazz artists residing in the surroundings of the Mexican Gulf. The music on Congo Jazz was originally released between the 1920s and 1960s of the 20th century. .
