Jolie Holland (born September 11, 1975 in Houston, Texas)[1] is an American singer and performer who combines elements of folk, traditional, country, rock, jazz, and blues. She is one of the founding members of The Be Good Tanyas. Career ANTI- labelmates Tom Waits and Sage Francis are both outspoken fans of Holland's: Waits nominated her for the Shortlist music prize[2] while Francis has said that Holland's album Escondida was his most listened to album of 2005.[3] Holland collaborated with Francis on two tracks on his album Human the Death Dance. Jolie Cherie is a parisian 80's influenced,electro-pop,dance,synthpop trio founded in 2008. Featuring the leader/frontwoman Melina Duval,the composer/singer Etienne de Champfleury and the DJ/producer Samir Alliche.
