Buddy Holly, pseudonimo di Charles Hardin Holly (Lubbock, Texas 7 settembre 1936 - Clear Lake, Iowa 3 febbraio 1959) è stato un cantante, un musicista ed un cantautore statunitense. La sua musica, che passa dal pop al al Rockabilly al rock and roll (egli fu proprio uno dei primi grandi interpreti di tal genere) lo resero molto amato ed apprezzato dai giovani negli anni Cinquanta.
