Michelle Gayle was born on 2nd February 1971, in London, England and is an English actress and singer. She had success as a pop singer in the 1990s. She achieved seven top 30 singles in the UK, her two biggest hits to date being Sweetness (No.4, September 1994) and Do You Know? (No.6, February 1997). Born in Washington D.C. Gayle Adams was a stand up comedienne and a race car driver before becoming a disco diva whom is best known for her hit singles "Love Fever", "Stretchin' Out" and "Your Love Is A Lifesaver." She made two albums for the dance-oriented Prelude label in the early eighties which were written and produced for her by Washington DC producers Willie Lester and guitarist Rodney Brown.
