Diskofil is a band formed in Randers, Denmark in 1994. They are known primarily for recording cover versions of Danish schlager hits, but have also recorded Danish-language covers of English-language songs. The original lineup consisted of Rikke Buch Bendtsen (Disko Lydia), Flemming Nielsen (Onkel Finn), Annette Lolck (Tiina Labina), Morten Madsen (Porno Bent), and Jan Winther (Tango Tage). Rikke Buch Bendtsen left in 1997 and was replaced by a new lead singer known as Boogie Jutta until Rikke Buch Bendtsen returned to the band in 2001. DiskothiQ was a lo-fi indie rock band from central southern California, led by Peter Hughes. The band released seven albums between 1994 and 1999, including The Football Albums, a double album consisting of one song about each team in the NFL. Additionally they appeared on a number of singles, split singles and compilations. They are currently inactive, but Peter Hughes has gone on to play bass with The Mountain Goats. Many of their early releases were on Sonic Enemy, a tape label run by Peter Hughes. .
