Klaus Hallen is probably best known for his tribute CDs, where the music of a popular artist like Barbra Striesand or Frank Sinatra is featured on a CD. Unlike some dance CDs which use the version by the original artist Klaus Hallen's orchestra plays the piece of music in strict-time accompanied by the vocals of an impersonator. The quality of the vocals is not only excellent but often surprising, in it's ability to so closely match the original artist. .
Klaus Doldinger (born May 12, 1936) is a German saxophonist, especially well-known for jazz and as a composer of film music. He was born in Berlin, and entered a Düsseldorf conservatory in 1947, graduating in 1957. In his student years, Doldinger gained professional performing experience, starting in 1953 in the German Dixieland band The Feetwarmers, and recording with them in 1955. Later that year he founded Oscar's Trio, modeled on Oscar Peterson's work. Klaus Wiese (18 January 1942 – 27 January 2009) was a veteran electronic musician and multi-instrumentalist from Germany. A master of the Tibetan singing bowl, he created an extensive series of album releases using them. Wiese also used the human voice, the zither, Persian stringed instruments, chimes, and other exotic instruments in his music. Wiese traveled the Far East for many years studying Sufism and Mysticism which clearly influenced his spiritual music. Born in 1936 in New York City, United States, David Hess began his career when he recorded the original version of the Otis Blackwell composition "All Shook Up" under the stage name Dave Hill in 1956. The song became a Number 1 hit for Elvis Presley a year later and Hess became a songwriter at Shalimar Music.
