Revolution Void is the electronic-jazz music project of 24-year-old DJ and producer Jonah Dempcy. Jonah began Revolution Void back in 1996 at the age of 12. The initial sound of Revolution Void was funky breaks and bigbeat, influenced by The Chemical Brothers, Prodigy and Fatboy Slim. Revolution Void had a somewhat more lo-fi aesthetic than these artists, however, due in large part to the fact that Jonah produced music using MOD programs such as FastTracker2. For a project just over a year old, it’s been quite a successful few months for the Leeds native. Riding high at the forefront of the Disco House revival, he gained huge online popularity for his edits and remixes (helping him to become one of the most blogged artists early in 2010) which led to signing singles to Strictly Rhythm & Dust Traxx, remixing Grum and James Talk & Ridney. TINY GHOSTS (1993 – present) Formed in 1993 by four guys from Saxony, Germany, the Tiny Ghost came together with the common desire to capture the good old days when R.E.M. was still a rock band, Guided By Voices was popular and Hüsker Dü hadn’t yet broken up.
