Steve Aoki, aussi connu sous DJ Aoki Kid Millionaire, est un DJ et producteur de la Californie. Il est le fondateur de Dim Mak Records qui a parti la carrière du groupe britannique Bloc Party et qui a récemment importé plusieurs stars montantes comme MSTRKRFT, Klaxons, Scanners, Whitey et Mystery Jets. Steven Siro Vai est né le 6 juin 1960 au Nassau County Hospital de New York. 4e enfant d'une famille de 5, il grandit à Carle Place (Long Island, NY).
Il débute la musique avec un orgue, instrument de musique offert pour son sixième anniversaire. À l'âge de 10 ans, il joue également de l'accordéon. Finalement, il touche sa 1re guitare à 13 ans.

Born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Worcester, Massachusetts, Victor's love for music was cultivated and shaped by his mother, a singer and a Julliard-trained pianist. After attending Bowdoin College, Victor moved to the San Francisco/Bay Area where he built a successful business and began studying voice and songwriting.
In 1998, a mutual friend introduced Victor to the Grammy-nominated producer/songwriter, Kashif (Kenny G, George Benson, Whitney Houston), which led to their collaboration on his debut album, Promise (1999). 1) Victory was formed in Hanover, Germany in 1984 from the remnants of the band Fargo. Apart from bass player Peter Knorn, there were two guitarists, Tommy Newton and John Lockton, as well as drummer Bernie Van of Graaf forming the group. After they originally worked with singer Pedro Schemm - after a small interlude with the later Thunderhead shouter Ted Pullit - the singer Charlie Huhn joined, who had formerly played with Gary Moore and Ted Nugent.
