Papercuts, c’est le projet du producteur/compositeur de San Francisco Jason Quever. Après leur inoubliable album de 2009, le planant «You can have what you want», les Américains nous reviennent avec «Fading Parade». Dans la droite lignée du précédent, l’album tout en douceur est empreint d’une élégante subtilité. Souvent comparé à Grizzly Bear, Beach House ou Devendra Banhart, l’écriture dream-pop passionnée du groupe est mélodique et agrémentée d’un excellent sens de l’instrumentation. Mais c’est définitivement la voix de Jason qui comme enveloppée dans un écho donne un cachet unique au groupe. .

The Haircuts were the duo of Teresa Daniele (Sarah, Plain + Tall/Paint Your Wagon Red) and Ryan Marquez (Apple Orchard/Sodajerk). Inspired by tweepop, some C86-era bands, classic K Records stuff, and a love for tape hiss! All the songs were recorded onto 4-track by swapping tapes between the US and Canada.. The long distance collaboration lasted for a couple of years, 2 EPs and one album. .

Precision Cuts (PC) are Tam Cooper, Jem Haynes and Joe Gray. They formed in 1999 and immediately made an impression on the breaks scene with a string of releases on octagon records and a rash of dj gigs in London where they played sets made up of hi octane breakbeat and a huge pile of their own dubplates of their own new and innovative tracks. Precision cuts are one of a handful of truly original Breakbeat artists. There are three artists: 1) The Cuts are a Polish rock band. 2) The Cuts were an American garage punk band on Lookout records formed in the late 90s. Andy Freeze went on to form The Time Flys. 3) The Cuts was a short-lived punk band from Toowoomba, Australia. They recorded one ep in 2005 entitled 'Deny The Plight' before splitting up. .
