flumpool est un groupe originaire d'Ôsaka issu de la rencontre, en 2002, de Ryūta Yamamura, Kazuki Sakai et Genki Amakawa. Tous trois forment un groupe de musiciens baptisé cube, jusqu'à ce qu'ils finissent par recruter un batteur, Seiji Ogura. Le 13 janvier 2007, le quatuor se rebaptise alors flumpool (contraction de "four", "lump" et "pool") et commence à composer des chansons.

Jahron Anthony Brathwaite (né le 3 juillet 1993), plus connu sous le nom de scène PartyNextDoor (parfois stylisé PARTYNEXTDOOR), est un chanteur canadien natif de Mississauga en Ontario qui est signé sur le label OVO Sound de Drake. Il a réalisé son premier EP le 1er juin 2013 sous OVO Sound. .

Sleep Party People is the brainchild of Brian Batz, a Danish multi-instrumentalist with a boundless imagination.
Taking as inspiration the work of Boards Of Canada, David Lynch and Erik Satie, Batz found the sound of the old battered piano in his apartment, coupled with a freaky electronic alteration of his recorded voice, created an eerie, hypnotic sound.
With his other worldly signature sound in place, this one-man home recording project started to take shape back in 2008, the collection of weird and haunting melodies he created forming the basis for Sleep Party People’s self-titled debut album (2010).
