James Marshall dit « Jimi » Hendrix - ou Voodoo Child (l'enfant vaudou) comme il aimait se surnommer lui même - (27 novembre 1942 - 18 septembre 1970) est un guitariste de blues et de rock américain célèbre pour ses innovations musicales lors de la période psychédélique.
Par son utilisation révolutionnaire de la guitare électrique aussi bien au niveau technique que sonore (expérimentations en tout genre) et sa façon unique de faire sonner une chanson, il propulse la musique pop dans une nouvelle dimension. In his 60 years in the music business Ron Goodwin composed, arranged, orchestrated and conducted music in all fields of the profession. In his early years he arranged for all the leading orchestras of the day and arranged and conducted recording sessions for top vocal artists.
He then recorded under his own name Ron Goodwin and His Concert Orchestra and became a top-selling artist in his own right. His first film score was Whirlpool in 1958 and during his lifetime he scored over 60 feature films.

Jimi Goodwin (born Jamie Francis Alexander Goodwin) is an English singer/songwriter, most famous as lead singer and bassist for the band Doves. He and his fellow Doves collaborators (brothers Andy and Jez Williams) were also once the electronic/dance band Sub Sub. Whilst Doves took a break, Jimi set to work on a much anticipated solo album. Guy Garvey (of Elbow fame) admits he has helped contribute to his friend's music and proclaims it to be "Brilliant".
