Keron Salmon, known by his fans as Kabaka Pyramid, is an ever-evolving artist that has numerous ways of expressing his creativity. The ability to watch and learn from others around him has made him into somewhat of a Jack-of-all-trades. You can find him at Bebble Rock Studios, in his hometown Kingston, Jamaica, writing lyrics, producing tracks, engineering/recording himself or other artists, mixing songs, editing video/photos, or even learning to play the guitar! The album "Heart of the Forest" was recorded in 1992 by Martin cradick of Baka Beyond deep in the Cameroonian rainforest. Martin Cradick left guitars with the Baka group he stayed with and after 10 years these same Baka Pygmies formed their own group Baka Gbiné. On subsequent visits Martin encouraged and recorded their songs, eventually setting up a temporary multi-track studio in the forest where he recorded the album "Gati Bongo". baka Gbiné have since toured with Baka Beyond in Europe and a live album of this tour, Baka Live, is now available from http://www.baka.co.uk .
Starting out in music playing clarinet, and becoming a member of a small orchestra, the man behind Tryambaka, Tiago Coelho Pimentel found his passion for music in the acoustic sounds.
